ROSC - the poetry of vision

Ciarín Scott’s inspired work… it is without doubt the best work of its kind that I have ever seen, for here is a film about art which is art.
A masterful work

ROSC - the poetry of vision

The film is an introduction to and impression of the first three of the ROSC Art Exhibitions in Dublin, which showed the best of Contemporary International Art together with works of Ancient Art. The film incorporates footage from ROSC '67, '71, and '77 and shows works by 71 artists from 23 countries.

The film was critically acclaimed and won many international awards, including in New York, Houston, the International Festival of Art Films, Georges Pompidou Center and the Centre National de la Cinematographie, Paris.

It was shown at a number of other international festivals including Chicago, Melbourne, and the Sense of Ireland at the ICA, London. There was also a special screening, introduced by Senator Gordon Lambert, at MOMA, New York, and was shown at the RHA in Dublin Contemporary.
